With their clear, saturated colors of red, white, yellow, brown and black, the 39 works on view through June 28 at both galleries (including Blood and Piss Piss Piss) resemble the best of post-Pop pranksterism as well as stained - glass windows from a profane and playful church of the life spirit.

Seeing Jonas as a «daughter» of the Yoruba orisha Oxum (Oshun)[4], one might imagine her white - spotted and feathered, with a bouquet of origami flowers, in a children's procession, with watery arms, in water waiting for and also offering a gift, dancing into the drift, head bowed down, a shining glare in her face, immersing herself with an indescribable animal spirit.

We have hung some large black and white photos of the artisans as the backdrop of the booth so we really feel them all here with us in spirit.

I've since moved up to craft beer (although inexpensive «adjunct» beer is in my fridge too), red wine (with some white wine in the Summer), and spirits, also known as «hard liquor.»
