In this day and age, when we have wonderful companies such
as Nestlé making wholesome babyfood, full of all the nutrients that baby needs (more so than breastmilk), why are some people still so backward
thinking as to believe that
breast is anything other than beastly?
Interesting, but I
think there are many different factors,
as with anything, that contributes to differences in
breast sizes through our life.
I
think hormones is a major contributing factor to our
breasts, considering some diminish
as we age.
Not only is that stressful for both of you, it will be very painful
as your
breasts still

as having large

One thing that I've noticed, these three ladies are actually saying or I know at least, Jenna said that she was smaller

After I had my twins I was a size G and I never
thought my
breasts could get that big but apparently they can and I just love this tank because it fit me well
as a G and now that I'm a little bit smaller because the girls aren't feeding quite
as much I feel like it's been able to adapt to my body and you know I'm one of those people I don't like to wear a lot of different layers, if I can wear one shirt and accomplish it,
as opposed to a tank and a bra I'll do it.
RUTH: Well I... I
think I was the same thing
as you Jenna because I didn't actually have larger
breasts before pregnancy which is until, I mean pregnancy and then when I had the baby they just got even bigger but engorgement was really the biggest problem that I had too.
Breast versus bottle doesn't need to be a dichotomy —
think of it more
as a continuum.
I do
think however a woman that was a playboy model might be more likely than most to have a pretty strong view of her
breasts as erotic / sexual to the point of not seeing them easily
as mother / gender / sexual.
No kids here, but I have an equal amount of mom - friends who have had
breast feeding issues
as ones who have not, so I
think it all depends on a variety of factors.
I would also add that
as much
as we would like to
think breast are for babies they do have other roles to play.

I will refrain from writing my own due to the length of the discussion board
as it is, but I do want to express a few
thoughts: - Because of the «
breast is best» campaign, I firmly believe that even if doctors, pediatricians, midwives et cetera know about the real trouble that many women have BF, they will not say anything so that moms still try.
As the father, I
thought it best to leave my wife to
breast feed in peace and I know she tried so very hard.
Infants of mothers with an oversupply of breastmilk (or more accurately, an aggressive milk ejection - and I
think you have both oversupply and a powerful milk ejection or just one) will often choke and sputter at the
breast, and pull off and reattach themselves to the
breast as they attempt to control the flow of milk.
New mothers often
think they can solve an intimate problem such
as breastfeeding because it entails a private part of their body (their
breasts) and additionally most women believe when it comes to feeding their child, they should not have to seek out an expert's advice (or are unaware that breastfeeding experts even exist) or face to face support and by searching for the answer from the internet.
I
think adults encourage infants, no matter their age, to consume entire bottle contents, whereas with the
breast, their is no visual clues
as to how much is left.
As an exclusive breastfeeding mother, I never
thought I would need a
breast pump.
Try gentle massage before and during pumping and also a warmed Therapearl
Breast THerapy Gel Pack wrapped around each flange can encourage more milk flow
as well (pumping is essentially tricking your body into
thinking it is a baby and a warmed flange replicates a warm baby mouth).
I
think you deal with having implants just
as similar if you had a different
breast surgery (could be due to sickness) when it comes to breastfeeding.
And you may
think that's a disadvantage so your
breast feeding baby is not waking up
as easily but is actually can be life saving for them.
i bf him every 4 hours in the day, and i even added 1 new feed (with formula, i don't produce enough
breast milk even when i pump to give him more) along with solids
as of a few weeks ago when all this started,
thinking he just needed more to sustain him through the night.
But I
think hand expression methods are best used
as a starting point to figuring out what works best on your own individual
breasts.
And it was unbelievable how fortunate these moms felt, who were not able to produce
as much, that they were able to get donor milk; and how incredibly fortunate they felt that their babies were able to receive
breast milk when they
thought that they may not be abl to, so that's amazing that you were on that list!
When I tried it out, I
thought I'd need the largest size
as I have quite big
breasts, but in fact my nipple size is obviously on the small size because I needed the smallest size — go figure.
I havent yet weaned my son off, im not sure how my
breasts will change then, but i
think if a woman gives a little extra TLC to her
breasts during and after pregnancy and breastfeeding, the results of saggy, stretched uneven
breasts wont be
as bad.
Think of your
breast as a clock and laid back feeding can have baby's body positioned at any hour.
You may
think that you're not producing enough milk because your
breasts no longer feel
as full, when in actuality your body is just leveling out and producing the perfect amount.
