When this partnership with citizens are called into question
by acts of excessive force on the part of the enforcers of the law, such as we witnessed during the march, when unarmed peaceful
protestors were physically
assaulted resulting in severe injuries; it is seen as a symptom of an ailing system championed
by a failing government who seek to curtail the right of its citizens to exercise their constitutionally mandated rights.
The Root interviewed one of the
protestors — a special education classroom aide — who was
assaulted by what it described as white supremacists.
