Same with dips, you can use a weight -
assisted dip machine and go till failure.
If you are unable to perform four reps, perform bench dips or use
an assisted dip machine instead.
Make it Easier: If your gym has
an assisted dip machine, or a seated dip machine then you can use that.
Most gyms will have
an assisted dips machine.
Not exact matches
Use the seated chest press, the seated incline chest press, the pectoral fly
machine and the weight -
assisted dip / chin
machine.
Depending on your level of strength, you can perform triceps
dips on a bench or using a set of parallel bars, mostly found on an
assisted pull - up /
dip machine.

Dips (add weight if necessary or use
assisted machine) 4.
This is most likely the wrong idea, but because I was so used to my entire body getting a workout from swimming, at the gym, I would work out the entire body as well... from: — seated leg press (90 lbs)-- leg curls (55 lbs)-- hip adductors (85 lbs)-- leg kickbacks (40 lbs)-- ab crunch
machine (35 - 40 lbs)-- abdominal twist (30 lbs)-- rowing
machine —
assisted dips, and the stairmaster all in one session....
Newer gyms have a
machine for
assisted dips and
assisted pull - ups that allows you to work with less than your bodyweight.
Assisted Chest
Dip (
Machine Dip) Most people find
dips extremely difficult, with good reason — they are.
In most gyms, there's a
dip / pull up
machine, which can
assist you with doing chin - ups.
If you're not strong enough to do full
dips, consider building up your strength with bench
dips, a tricep press down
machine, or a
dip assist machine.
Again, if
dips are too difficult, try building up your strength with other exercises like bench
dips or the
dip assist machine.
