at Justin Chatwin in his role as Goku in the upcoming live action adaptation of Akira Toriyama's
Dragonball.
Renowned for their work on the beautifully chaotic Guilty Gear games, Arc System Works were unveiled
at E3 last month to be finally working their magic on the
Dragonball franchise.
This was something I had seen before in games such as
Dragonball Z on the PlayStation 2 and it didn't bother me
at first.
We know from gameplay footage and the demo that this latest addition to the
Dragonball game series will return to its Budokai-esque roots, moving away from the (in my experience,
at least) frustrating system of QTE - combo stringing found in Ultimate Tenkaichi.
Alongside Tekken 7 and
Dragonball Xenoverse 2, a brand new IP from Bandai Namco will also be featured
at Gamescom next month.
It's the best M.U.G.E.N game that I've ever played but there are some things that aren't so great... Like the difference from the Street Fighter characters to the
Dragonball fighters, just look
at Chibi Gohan if you fight with Ken you can atleast beat him with Hadoken the kicks don't want to work right... But it's the best that I have ever seen!
With the
Dragonball FighterZ game launch approaching
at the end of this month, Bandai Namco is still showing off some new roster additions to help us gear up for the game.
