We already had 3 cats
at home, and I was a little concerned about introducing Meika to them, but she showed no interest in the cats that were

Our sweet Momma just doesn't seem to get noticed

so deserves to be, perhaps because shes
so quiet and polite.
The branch will provide an essential cat
adoption service in Coleraine and the surrounding area and a recruitment
event is being held
at the Sandel Centre in Knocklynn Road, Coleraine on Monday 22 November
at 7 pm,
so that cat - loving local people can find out more about getting involved.

so concerned about proper screening
at all
adoption events is the very chance of an animal being adopted for nefarious (horrible) reasons is just unacceptable.

Ginger's Pet Rescue has a broad range of volunteer opportunities including assisting
at adoption events, walking dogs, transporting dogs, helping plan and organize fundraising
events, and
so much more.
A: The first step is to fill in our
adoption application
so that we can invite you to meet the dogs in our care
at an upcoming
adoption event or by appointment depending on when the dog or puppy is ready for a new home, once you have your puppy with you I recommend to get the litter box to keep dogs out from eating cat's food.
Applicants must be
at least 21 years of age and the head of household (If you are not the head of household, the head of household must be a co-applicant and must come to the
adoption event so we are able to confirm that the homeowner / person named on the lease is okay with the
adoption).
Please do not just show up
at an
adoption event and expect to adopt a dog that day - we need time to review your application ahead of time, which is why we ask that you submit your application ahead of time
so you don't miss out on the dog you are hoping to adopt while you wait for your application to be reviewed.
Transportation to
adoption events at least 2x per month, or willingness to communicate in advance
so we can arrange transportation
So clean out your linen closet and donate clean items for the cats to lay on, donate any money that you can, host a casual Friday day
at work and ask everyone to pay $ 3 - 5 for the privilege and then donate that to your local shelter, drop off food or other supplies (call to find out what they need), offer to transport shelter cats to
adoption events or the veterinary clinic, offer to help with
adoptions or fundraisers or even to sit with the shelter cats and give them love, open your home to provide foster care... the ideas are endless.
Mia (died May 21, 2009) Sweet, happy Mia was shy
at adoption events,
so no one saw her true bubbly personality except her foster mom.
You'll be expected to attend
at least one
adoption event per month
so fosters must live within 50 miles of the Twin Cities.
Surrounded by other adoptable dogs and people
at an
adoption event, she was
so incredibly calm and allowed everyone to pet her while she laid peacefully near her volunteer.
Cookie was going to be available for
adoption this weekend but Ginger doesn't want her around the other dogs in the kennel or
at the
adoption event because she is looking out for their best interest,
so we are going to keep Cookie until she is feeling better.
