So naturally when I was asked to prepare a dish for her Virtual Baby Shower from her friends in the
blogging community, I jumped
at the chance.
I am what I guess you'd call a newbie blogger and even though I can be impatient with some of the aspects of this
blogging business
at times, I do love things being
so new, hitting new milestones, and learning / trying new things all the time.
I love how
so many of my
blogging idols have cook books... Real, you can buy them
at the shops, beautiful cooking books!!

I'll be spending my extra day off doing
blogging and health coaching work instead, running some errands, cleaning, going for a hike
at our nearby favorite park, and taking my Batpuppy to the vet (just for an annual thing)... Backing it up to the beginning of the weekend, I kicked off my post-work Friday with a trip to the Del Mar dog beach on another 90 degree day: I love it

So I put the bettyrawker.com website on hold and started
blogging at pureandsimplerecipes.com which evolved to forestandfauna.com this year.
I wasn't
blogging, I wasn't working
at the time, I just had the most amazing group of friends who also had babies the same age
so I meet them weekly for playdates.
In my years of
blogging, I have come to know and develop relationships with
so many RDs, I laugh because I tend to refer to myself as a wanna - be RD
at times.
I recently
blogged about the reasons
so many cloth diapering moms are confused... just look
at all the different manufacturers» recommendations out there!
Congratulations on
so many big
blogging goals done... it's lovely being able to look
at that list and shout — check!
This year BlogHer was hosted in Los Angeles,
so you know I jumped
at finally being able to attend the biggest
blogging conference in the country.
I never really envisaged a linky as part of my
blogging life but I absolutely love hosting #BlogCrush with my lovely friend Lucy (Lucy
at Home) and have got to know
so many lovely bloggers that I had never heard of before.
At times I really felt my passion of
blogging reduced to a career
so cheesy that I questioned its future.
I'm still pretty new
at all of this
blogging stuff
so I might be doing it wrong.
At a
blogging conference we all have online friends
so I don't get any strange looks because they all get me.
I've been
blogging here for
so long (1,300 + posts, starting in May, 2010) that I can't even wrap my head around all the topics we've managed to discuss in that time, and it's really hard to get the big picture by looking
at the «back end» of a WordPress blog.
I've not joined in with The Gallery for ages, mostly because I'm
so rubbish
at blogging that I only find out the theme once the linky is almost closed, but as a child of the Eighties, I felt it was my duty to show you some photos and generally give myself the chance to show off just how damn CUTE I was as a child.
I found a Hershey's bag I had gotten as «swag»
at a
blogging conference and never used
so I thought it would be perfect for this teacher welcome gift since I didn't have a basket.
I am fairly new
at blogging and looking around
so I enjoyed searching through your blog.
Interestingly enough, the next day I came across a study from Australia that seems quite relevant,

Being a stay
at home mom and working out of the house means that I don't do a lot of communicating during the day
so blogging is my way of communicating.
I'm also sharing baby gear trends, new products, and giveaways on Instagram: HeatherCPST, and
blogging about large families, adoption, homeschooling and style
at This (Not
So) Simple Life.
And the rules applied to networking are equally applicable to
blogging; just as a firm selects those employees deemed responsible enough to represent them
at events,
so too should they select employees to represent them on the blog.
Starting a HuffPo account usually requires a
blogging track record of some kind, or
at least a prominent presence or big name,
so those on the Left may want to consider starting a «diary» first on a site like Daily Kos that takes all comers (though be careful about what you post — these sites» readers are typically viciously protective of their online homes, and blatantly promotional posts can get flamed fast).
At some point this morning I'm going to have to stop
blogging for an hour or
so because there's a meeting must attend.

so scienceblogging.org is a site that Bora and Anton pulled together to highlight,
so it could be a one - stop shop for all the science
blogging news that you wanted to get
at any day and it's auto updating throughout the day; and it basically lists about 25 science
blogging networks and some of the names of the blogs that are part of those networks.
