I am gearing up to travel to Boulder, Colorado in April to teach two
food styling and photography workshops
at The Makerie retreat.It will be a weekend of learning, eating and other side events like these two events I will be part of on April 10th.
Mostly through trial and error although I also attended a two - day
food styling intensive workshop with Denise Vivaldo
at the Sydney Cooking School.
In an attempt to capture this simple yet delicious weeknight meal I rushed to my room, set up my camera -LCB- neglecting everything I learned about good
food photography and
styling last weekend -RCB- and was positively surprised that I could actually take pictures in natural light
at 6.20 pm.....
It was Wednesday
at 7 o'clock in the morning — our third day into the
food styling and photography workshop and still as excited as day one.
From 5 - star restaurants in Hong Kong, to street vendors in Saudi Arabia, and even in bedouin tents in the desert surrounding the Pyramids
at Giza in Egypt, Chef G has experienced many very unique
foods and spices that helped him to develop a
style of cooking that is sophisticated and refined, appetizing and appealing, yet not intimidating to even the choosiest eaters.
