So, I've dedicated the last year of my life to teaching other young folks (and young
at heart) how to
get into real estate investing, despite some of the disadvantages we have.
This is a really, really important lesson here, because everyone on the line, as they start to
get into real estate investing or to grow their
real estate investing,
at some point you need to find more money.
I don't think it's so much that «team play» is not preferred, but more that
real estate investments are not inexpensive to
get into, and most investors are looking
at the market, the economy, etc. and making decisions as to where they want to
invest, what types of properties present the safest options, etc..
If
at some point you have the ability to
invest that tax sheltered retirement savings
into real estate and
get better returns than you can from the market today, great.
We
got paid well, lived
at the bottom of our means, and saved in order to prepare to enter
into real estate investing.
