This is a club that was
at the door of
greatness in 2006... Look
at us now... Barely making the CL group stage (necessary in order to
get the cash reward because we are million miles away from winning the competition) and falling short in the league every season like a tradition.
wenger is a legend in his own mind so other peoples opinions... fans, ex players, journalists, etc... have no bearing on his
greatness or the righteousness of his own decisions... from end of last season it was clear we needed two quality attacking options to put up a serious challenge (
getting rid of walcott and campbell or ox and bringing in a serious upgrade over giroud) instead he brought in another midfield option (having done the same in the winter window) which only makes sense in his own delusional world rather than the reality of facing up to serious and strengthening competitors and which defines the job
at hand....

get away with the limited performances that we've been accustomed to which was again evident
at Besiktas.
It's the fans that keep sacrificing because this team can't
get their head out of their own ass... please give me some examples when a top club ever let their best player leave for free
at the end of a season... Wenger needs to go to PSG and
get some money and talent for Sanchez so that we can end this nonsense once and for all... then he needs to publicly apologize for the way in which they handled the whole situation... if they allow Sanchez to go for free there is no way this club, under the tutelage of Kroenke and Wenger, will ever layout the necessary coin to replace such a talented player, especially considering that Wenger will be a lame - duck manager once again in the final year of his contract and we know how well that went last year... open your eyes people, Wenger has spoken publicly about how he hopes that the next manager can take this club to the next level... WHAT?!?... he then went on to speak about leaving them in the perfect position to be successful, which is one of the reasons why several pundits felt Wenger would leave after last season based on the financials and the fact that so many players had only one year left on their respective contracts... who says this shit??? If you believe you're leaving things in the best possible shape for your potential successor to achieve
greatness it raises a couple of serious questions: Why can't you take things to the next level if everything is as great as you say?

got to be one of the more infuriating «pieces» I've read... this guy's attempt

Chromehounds was nice but I wouldn't call it great. The environments were sparse (a notable trend in From Software games), the assembly system was prone to abuse (cock blocking), and while I generally lift my nose
at anyone who complains a game is «too slow» I do have to to admit that the weight to speed ratio seemed skewed.A smaller nitpick that
got to me was that the heavy gunner role felt underdeveloped when it came to the mechanics involved or more precisely the lack there of, using only your eyes and your misses to judge where to aim was jarring in immersive sense (they have giant robots but no laser range finders or even an reticle on the screen to give some form of estimation of where to aim) and felt like an after thought. As usual, From Software had a pretty cool idea but failed to apply the extra level of polish that would push the game to
greatness.
