As a former stay at home mom now working mom (not by choice), I have to say it is harder to work and parent, but not because of the scheduling and working «two jobs» but because of not being able to be where you heart really is.

I was afraid to admit to certain fellow attachment parenting moms that I: used a baby swing, tried to get my children to take pacifiers (though none would), used disposable diapers at home some days when I was over doing all that laundry, used the TV as a babysitter when I needed to clean or eat chocolate by myself, fed my children store - bought baby food some times, and much more.

These diapers are mostly made by WAHM's (work at home moms) and can be found on Hyena Cart and Diaper Swappers WAHM board.

The modern - day stay - at - home mom is continually evolving and can't be limited by a dictionary - type definition or a society stereotype.

A stay at home mom is surrounded by babies or kids all day and might long for some grown - up interaction or adult conversation...

However, as a stay at home mom, I'm home most of the time and it's a shirt I want to live in all day long, accompanied by my favorite pair of velour sweat pants, of course.

Sometimes the biggest problems with being a stay - at - home mom are how moms tend to negatively view themselves by undervaluing their true worth and contributions.

I was inspired by this stay - at - home mom and her lunches, and I looked to her as a model for my own blogging experience.
