I would prefer to sign him permanently in the summer rather than on loan in the winter.He is a great talent and could really shine in the epl with us.Yeah he is not the kind of superstar that ozil was when we signed him but that does not mean that he is not a top quality player.He could really be a good fit into our team.But I can guarantee you that signing draxler alone next summer will not bring us the epl title.The squad needs strengthening in at least 2 - 3 positions to win the title in what could actually be wenger's farewell season.Going back to draxler though, without a doubt he will only make the squad stronger but I just hope that he is one of the many players heading towards the emirates next season to help us win the title, regardless of where MESU - LEXIS are cum next august....

@ 007 its not that bad, we just won the fa cup, in the cl group stage and i believe we have a strong squad to compete at least till January (and i still believe we will sign a couple of players before the deadline).

I have to say both players are very talented and would add depth to our squad, however as far as strikers are concerned, for once I wish we would not go for a project and convert a Draxler or Gotze into a striker but sign a guy who has mastered the position in at least one of Europe's main leagues and preferably in the PL.

If the Arsenal transfer rumours about us having already made offers for these two players then it is at least a sign that Arsene Wenger and the Arsenal board are serious about adding more strength to the squad and that they are not just sitting on their hands and waiting as some of us have suspected in the past.
