Despsite a couple of elderly «twists,» the only thing really surprising about this tale of a Mossad operation gone pear - shaped is that Mirren's hack husband Taylor Hackford didn't direct it — knowing that if he had,
at least the action scenes in it, for what they're worth, would've been a good deal tighter.

The reason why I give it
at least 4 points is: rememberable
scenes (bungee jump, Judi Dench's first»M» appearance, Death
scene of the main villain) and as
action crime it's not a complete failure.
And the execution of these ideas,
at least at first glance, appears tp be very similar, with plenty of
action scenes set to popular music and our villain having a misplaced sense of ambition and moral outrage.
At least the inventive
action scenes reveal details about each character.
It's all very standard - order, and the stuff in between the
action often lacks energy, so it is relieving to report that the film
at least comes alive during the
action scenes.

action superhero flick, it made my friday night.
Yet it's definitely more about the journey than the destination — all of that is an excuse for fun
action scenes with an enjoyable cast of characters, and for
at least the introductory film in a series, that's probably enough.
Early indications seem to point to more of a comedy than the true
action epic that fans were hoping for, but with Li and Chan together onscreen, there's bound to be
at least one great fight
