at hand.

software do not support all of the ePUB2 spec or even the same parts of it.

software readers out there — don't get me started on the Nook
software reader that can't even center text and will crash in 9 out of 10 times — but the way a book looks in the
reader is not representative of the device

One of the smartest moves that Amazon made — and one that analysts entirely overlooked

What looked like an oversight
at first has become the harsh truth of iBooks — the fact that there is not even a
software reader for Macs or other desktop computers.
BookRix emerged
at a time when ebooks were still not catching on among German
readers, largely in part due to the odd tax laws that made ebooks fall under an almost punitive taxation rate as they were considered to be
software downloads rather than books.
Still, Kindle Cloud
Reader seems like a great option for people who are using a shared computer, perhaps
at a school computer lab, since it gives you access to all your Kindle books without having to install any
software.
That being said, if Sony releases a
reader at a reasonable price that has the same screen as the Aura, but fixes the
software issues, I'm probably going to sell my Aura.

software not running yet... media player the same as other WM phones, will NOT upgrade to WM7... for those (like me) who are anti-touchscreen only devices, this will change your mind, swype is amazing and simple to use.
Since then, Microsoft has invested heavily in digital book designs, beefing up its
reader software and creating new portable computing platforms such as the PocketPC and TabletPC, aimed squarely
at augmenting traditional printed media formats.
However, the counterpoint to this is that it isn't really that much more convenient when you are limited to what store you can shop
at because of the e-book

When you try that from the iPhone

It's a shame that Amazon didn't revive their interest in large screen ebook
readers, but
at least the Boox M96 is a solid option — a new Kindle DX could have never competed with it on a
software level anyway.
Depending on the
software of the
reader, this may not be manageable, but
at least it is possible without using Cloud - Storage.
