For lunch one day, I had their «Guac & Greens» salad bowl; basically, a mix of all the delicious ingredients that go in to guacamole tossed through a huge pile of salad (and usually topped with chicken
at sweetgreen).
If I'm wiped from a long day of cooking for an event, I usually make a warm grain bowl
at Sweetgreen, pick up a house - made soup at Forager's, or head to a casual dinner at Jack's Wife Freda or Souen.
I also like big salads, like the ones
at Sweetgreen.
If they're not
at Sweetgreen, Taco Dumbo, or Gran Electrica, you can probably find them whipping up a veggie - heavy plate with some humanely raised meat for Jason and eggs for Colleen.
I've never eaten
at Sweetgreen but from what I can see from their website, they are a far cry from McDonalds.

And while the landmark vegan restaurant Angelica Kitchen in Manhattan is closing this week, its legacy is vast — veggie burgers and grain bowls, once a menu rarity, can be had
at chains like Hillstone and
Sweetgreen.
I'd like to be able to eat lunch
at my desk without having to worry about whether or not my sleeves are accidentally being dipped into my
sweetgreen dressing of the day — you know?
