As stated in that post, if you wish to have a water birth, home birth or have your
baby at the birth centre, you will require a midwife to achieve this.
In the extremely unlikely event that you
arrive at the birth centre to find that neither of our birth rooms or the backup birth room is available, you will unfortunately have to travel home or to hospital to give birth.
A: While you are welcome to receive
visitors at the birth centre, the time that you are at the centre is limited and we recommend that you use this time for relaxing, nursing, and acquainting yourself with your new baby.
first time around, I had my
daughter at a birth centre that did nt offer drugs of any kind because i did nt trust myself to stick to my natural birth plan!!
Our first stop was
at a birth centre in Shibpasa, Ajmiriganj that opened two years ago and provides round the clock delivery services and breastfeeding counseling.
If you are
at a birth centre they keep you in for about 6 hours after the birth and then you can go home.
A: Call your on - call midwife as per her instructions, she will meet
you at the birth centre and will be able to let you in.
A. Midwives can assist with your birth either
at the Birth Centre, in your home or in a hospital.
