I'm wondering... since diesel engines are direct injected... how does diesel pool
at intake manifold?
I did the above recommendation (cleaning the engine) and the leak was
the at the intake manifold gasket (right rear side).

Is this because since both valves are open and the piston is
at TDC, it's sucking more air out of the
intake manifold and results in the pressure spike due to the exhaust being potentially plugged?
