travelling and speaking all over North America, stewarding the message of Jesus Feminist throughout her first year of life, creating the Jesus Feminist collection with Imagine Goods, a trip to Haiti, new opportunities as a writer, three tinies
at home with their own lives and drama and growth and change, remodelling parts of our home, marriage, church, friends, life, work, laundry (oh, can we talk laundry?!)

blogging is that I will always have a visual record of my
travels and experiences, but it's still really wonderful to physically have images printed and displayed
at home.

at RomCon today and talking about villains, or in the case of my young adult time
travel novel WISHING YOU WERE HERE, a character you love to hate.
While my colleague
blogged about how indispensable his Kindle has become, this road warrior found herself using her Kindle
at home more than she did while
traveling (ahem — I already regularly push the allowable carry - on weight limits for some airlines, thank you).

But the truth is very few people make money
blogging and those that do work very hard
at it and in my opinion sell a piece of their
traveling soul.
Blog
at the Beach is probably one of the most well - organised
travel blogging events I've ever been to.
I started
blogging long ago but I had to leave it aside cause I didn't have time
at all, my biggest goal was to learn to organize my time and be able to combine work /
travel with writing.
I've been shaking my head for the last few years
at the direction this whole
travel blogging thing has taken & it's not the right one.

Travel blogging has SO many ins and outs that it can get overwhelming

travels — I've gotten used to this after four years of
blogging and constant social media — but during my downtime
at home, I usually keep pretty quiet.

at building a school in rural Cambodia.

I met Adina Marguerite
at World Domination Summit last summer, and we immediately bonded over our love of
travel and

As far as I know there weren't many Asians
at the White House or represented much in
travel blogging either (I only really know of a couple, but please feel free to enlighten me!)
I also adored how you have written
at the end of your article how to plan for a island hopping tour; it's tips like this that lack from so many
travel blogging websites!
Thank you for pointing this out, and no you are not way off base People of color
travel too, and apart from platforms like Nomadness for expression, our blogs are not really out there I have been
travelling for like forever and i am not really in a habit of
blogging but i am quickly picking up momentum There was a recent article on» sexiest travellers of 2014» and even before scanning the list, i was thinking» there will not be any people of color on that list», so does this mean we are not sexy enough or we do not
travel at all?
Our own Alexa ranking has recently been the lowest it has ever been in our four years of
blogging at Grantourismo and our PR recently dropped because we haven't been
blogging as much as we used to because we've been so busy doing our day jobs (
travel and food writers, and my husband's a photographer).
Along the way we would
travel on the cheap, create some awesome content and hopefully you would learn a wealth of knowledge about how to do adventure
travel while backpacking,
blogging and instagramming
at the same time.
