yeah killzone 2 does not use Resistance 2's water
at all... in fact I've never seen water that looks like that of killzone 2 yet... it has multiple layers with multiple real - time reflections... but,
at least for the big moving water body in the demo... there are no physics like
uncharted or R2 incorporated... if you shoot it, there is a huge plume of water that jets upward, but no real ripples in the body... it still looks great,
at the ripples wouldn't look right with the waves and the current of the water... but its definitely not an R2 water engine or anything... however killzone 2 does have the ripples in other
areas... puddles will react to bullet fire apparently... and there are
areas of flooded buildings with «still» water... that do have the
uncharted like ripples according to some... but the big flowing river does not...
every n4g sony fanboy is now a game developer LOL last of us wasn't THAT good looking, it still comparable to games like halo, gears of war and
uncharted, i think people need to realise (especially sony fangirls) how games can pull these graphics off, low player counts, not much happening on screen and just
areas that look big but have very small playing
areas, or streaming parts of
areas at a time, now if you look
at the last of us multiplayer &
uncharted 3 mutliplayer, it looks crap compared to the story.
While I play games I assume some
areas should happen
at night, either according to the story or whatever, and some happen during the day i.e.
Uncharted.
The USAT article says the title, unveiled
at the VGAs, will be based from the same third - person perspective that
Uncharted came from, with Naughty Dog co-president Christophe Balestra telling the publication it was «trying to move the medium of video games into an
area elevated in the same manner of respect» that films have done.
Speaking of environments,
Uncharted 4 offers much larger traversal
areas at times than fans of the series may be used to.
There's a segment in Lost Legacy similar to [
Uncharted 4's] Madagascar where you can choose to explore and see different
areas at different times, experience it differently.
