recipe that Cara Mangini, owner and founder of Little Eater, shares in her cookbook
titled The Vegetable Butcher — a name she acquired while working
at Eataly.
Then I skim through looking
at the
titles of all the
recipes.
Although looking
at the
title of the
recipe, now I understand.
I had to put the exclamation point
at the end of this
recipe title because, seriously, this
recipe IS happiness.
Despite the
title, this great new vegetarian cookbook by Nikki and David Goldbeck, co-authors of American Wholefoods Cuisine, is chock full of
recipes for every meal of the day - especially if your toddler, who like me couldn't care less what's «appropriate» to eat
at certain times.
Random
recipe maybe in the
title of this post, but it's actually a random ingredient we had to select this month for the Random
Recipes challenge over
at Belleau Kitchen.
I marveled
at a
recipe laconically
titled «cream», an ersatz of pure cream using bread, milk and cornstarch.
