is that those with religion think that

people I know

people of religion, calling them hypocrites while not showing their own moral standards so that their own hypocrisy can

Most would judge a
person based on his or her actions, so a kind Christian would
be a «
better»
person than a jerk of an
atheist, and vice versa.

The fact that you can site
people and events from both the religious and
atheist camps in both the
good and bad categories shows that the common denominator
is people, and that religion really doesn't matter.

is not a religious organization, and
atheists as
well as religious
people donate to it.

The point
is not trying to force
people to believe the same as the
atheist; the point
is to respect all
people, allow them to live as they believe
best, and do not allow
people in positions of power or government to force their religious beliefs upon others.

I believe there
are good people who
are of various religions and also
are atheists.
so most
atheists know very
well why
people are religious as they
were once religious themselves.
Which
is why
atheists are often more
well versed in theology than your average
person..
In short, a belief that we
're better people because we
're (Christian, American, Educated,
Atheist,...) leads us to avoid preventative measures against abuse, and justify abusive behaviours when they do occur.
As an
atheist, I can say that death
is a terrible loss because the dead
person is gone and never coming back, however for a christian, that
person is still alive and
well in heaven, happy as a pig in sh.it and yet
people are still sad at funerals.
Even
atheists say that Jesus
was a
good man and provides a great example for
people to follow.

nothing makes the
atheist more ticked off more than when you bring up GOD... God gets all the blame for all the tragedy in the world... If there wasnt a god in the first place, humans would not know tragedy or injustice when we see it... it would
be a non-issue to us... survival of the fittest would not permit the emotions of love, compassion, empathy... Darwininian theory could not allow any of those and many other of the
best of
people's capacity for caring to surface... You cant explain it away by synapse or neurons... without a Supreme
Being, there would
be no sense of justice or injustice, we would not call it anything because there
is no Ultimate Moral Standard to compare it.
So in this post, I will look at two traditional explanations for how God knows what it
is like to lose a son, and I will also explain why I reject both explanations (which might also
be why
atheists and other
people reject these explanations as

is not unique, and as member of AA for over 20 years, I have known
people to get sober in AA from every religion, denomination as
well as other
atheists, agnostics or non-believers.
We
are top of the food chain and our actions have identifiable consequences on the environment around us, but both
atheists and believers can agree on that much (
well most of us any way), but that
's not
good enough for most
people, they have to have MEANING, there has to
be something more than meets the eye with them.
If it
was the latter I can
well understand why he
is a self professed
atheist as non of us religious
people agree and can not answer his questions.
Atheists are the most hateful
people I know, you somehow think that you
are better than others because you «know» in your tiny mind that God doesn't exist.
