believers in the name of atheism, seek to change laws in favor of their atheistic positions, recommend the extermination of religion, and practice falsehoods like Dawkins's in support of atheism, they prove that their atheism drives their behavior and that their premise is false, disingenuous, and (
as far
as I can tell) useless for anything but giving atheism rhetorical cover from being implicated in
atheists» atrocities.
Two things bother me, why jeopardize your children's security for this experiment, and why do it??? I mean everyone has doubts I their faith, but being a Christian raised by
atheists, turning your back so publicly is the same
as saying your faith was a joke... it is insulting to
believers, a crisis of faith is normal in life, denouncing faith is shameful

As I don't carry enough theological weight to help my fellow
believers in this debate with evidence or valuable dialog, and I was never able to cement myself in mt attempt to be an
atheist, I can only say that when I tried to de-construct my belief system and embrace the scientific angle, it fell flat.

Kid, there have been many different points in my life where I was a
believer like you (not
as crazy but still, believed), so it isn't like I read it only once
as an
atheist.
And to those
atheists, denouncing all
believers as devoid of logic and reason is patently wrong, and if you disagree, I invite you to debate me on the topic, or on any topic either religious or otherwise and decide for yourself whether I am devoid of logic and reason.
Atheists decry the claim of Christianity to having truth exclusive to only
believers, without realizing that the claims they make about truth and reality actually are just

atheists don't like
believers and some take an extra step and dislike what they believe in

You might want to claim that you Christians have some extra facts, but you have to remember that many of us
atheists were once

believers out there who still continue to ask questions about God, about the Universe, and so forth, and unlike certain
atheists out there who if they can't get definite answers to just come to conclusions that can not be verified like conclude that there is no God, at least there are
believers out there who at least are willing to at least be open to the possibility that there is a God, and from there they develop their faith, which even though is not a perfect knowledge, at least can help keep those minds open, unlike certain

believer, I rarely engage in arguments with my
atheist friends, and like to think I wouldn't lower myself to the level of juvenile name - calling and personal attacks against whatever my
atheist friends hold dear.Most of the time we simply agree to disagree; when they hold forth with misinformation or ignorance on their assumed «knowledge «of my faith, I try to gently correct them; I certainly don't allow any disagreements we have to devolve into hateful insults and name - calling.
And I can tell you from over a decade of counseling experience that I have found FAR more «self - loathing» (

atheists and agnostics than among
believers of any faith.

atheists came from religious backgrounds and wished to know then due to the knowledge found, left the belief in god behind... Yes, there are some agnostic religious people, but they still believe and therefore would side with religion,
