People don't know how many
atheists there are
in this
country.
I care a lot less about
atheists in the
country, the real problem is
atheists in church leadership and congregants who don't see their atheism.
You know the
atheists say that their rights are being violated because there are religious symbols and sayings
in everything having to
do with our
country but what about everyone else's rights?
well i see them
atheist people tryna reach out, there is a better idea, why
do nt you guys reach out to the people
in middle east and iran by putting up a billboard
in those
countries mentioned above.
I wonder how we
atheists in the US (somewhat lazy and complacent) can help
atheists in other
countries that are can not speak as freely as we
do?

did not grow up an
atheist in this

I praise the fact we live
in a free
country and an
Atheist group can voice their opinion publicly as thousands of church's across the
country do.

too bad we don't have the audacity to elect an
atheist, agnostic, buddhist, toaist, etc. this is the first time we've had the «audacity» to elect anything but an old white straight man to the presidency
in this

atheist.
As an
atheist citizen of the USA, I don't have to buy a ticket to another
country in order to enjoy religious freedom.
I am not lessened by those that
do not believe what i believe, i served this
country and spent a year
in Iraq, many of my fellow soldiers were Christian but i served beside
Atheists, mormons, Catholics, wiccans, Jews, even a satanist, yes a satanist, and guess what, we were friends, I cared deeply for them and they for me, These were the guys that protected me so i could sleep, my life was
in their hands and theirs
in mine... I think you all have a very bad idea of what a Christian is, i think you have no idea what you're talking about when you judge us all as a religion... you need to get out of your house and off of your computer chair and learn what people are really about... Maybe then you will understand Humanity rather than just secularizing everybody and hating them... you are sad people, yet my beliefs teach me to pray for you, and hope that you come to reason...
I don't know if my question has more to
do with history of US and its culture and society (perhaps
in some other
country or at some other time
in future it's
atheists who are pro free enterprise and the religious being against), or with human psychology?
