Personally, I don't care for the ability to listen to
audiobooks on an ereader, as my phone is perfect for that, so it's not a selling point.

The only thing that might make this even better is if they actually made an iBooks app for Android, so people could read their eBooks and
audiobooks purchased via iBooks
on open android
eReaders, but still be able to sync it with iCloud, and have progress, notes, etc., be synced to iBooks for Mac or iOS devices.

I wonder what could happen if the Big Five publishers of the Anglo - Saxon world banded together like this to form an Alliance to defy Amazon, produce their own
eReaders, develop their own software, and build up a robust ecosystem, to directly compete with Amazon, whom they so loathe yet can't live without... Off course the devices, software, and ecosystem would have to be absolutely top notch to make people actually consider leaving Amazon (the Big Five might want to capitalise
on AudioBooks by making
eReaders that allow you to plug in a headphone).
If you want to read ebooks, there are some extra features not available
on Kindle
ereaders, like the ability to use multicolored highlights, wordrunner, text - to - speech (with multiple voices to choose from), immersion reading where it highlights text while playing the
audiobook, and the HD 10 adds two column mode for landscape view, which is quite nice.

on - demand supplier, a complete end - to - end self - publishing system, pretty much the entire used books marketplace, the biggest
audiobook distributor, the best iPhone
ereader, and designed, built and delivered the only truly mass - market dedicated
ereading device, with a proprietary format that sets them up to be the iTunes of eBooks.

audiobooks too i went with this because the price was right -LCB- under 100 $ -RCB- i do nt need wifi i bought it to read my books it fits in my purse.
The most important thing to do before buying a new dedicated reading device is to research ebook availability and pricing among ebook stores, along with all the other digital media that you intend to use
on your
ereader — ebooks, newspapers, magazines, blogs, webpages,
audiobooks, etc..
