authentic community service aims to reframe college admissions.

community school: (1) health and social supports for students and families, often called wraparound
services; (2)
authentic family and
community engagement; and (3) expanded learning opportunities inside and outside the school building that support the core curriculum and enrich students» learning experiences.
Innovative strategies, such as Leaders for Today and Tomorrow (which develops and supports school, district, and
community - based leaders with an emphasis on equity, social justice, and
authentic family engagement) and the Youth
Service Professionals Initiative (a comprehensive initiative to build staff skills and system capacity) demonstrate continued commitment to cross-boundary leadership.

communities through patronizing local businesses, resources such as clean water remain available for everyone, not just tourists and travelers, Belizeans are not confined to low - level
service jobs, but instead have opportunities to work and grow professionally within their own tourism industry, women and children are protected from exploitation - and that our clients have
authentic opportunities to learn about Belize and Belizeans.
