authors who have more money than available time — it might very well be a reasonable investment to engage a news clipping service during the course of a

promotion until later in the series (as there would be nothing released to promote until 5
books in).
Authors who are determined to pay a
book publicist to orchestrate a viral
book marketing campaign simply make additional phone calls until they find a
book publicist who disingenuously promises to do the impossible,
and to force a
book promotion campaign to go viral.
Advances,
promotion and book tours will remain the domain of the publishing industry,
and they'll always be the first choice for almost any
author.

author who also had intimate knowledge of independent
book stores, talked to her publisher, asked probing questions about their plans for

I'm guessing that my
book sat somewhere around average or low - average compared to the other Kindle Press
authors /

Picking a publication date that fits with your personal life, relevant holidays (a

authors get to plan their
