So, if I had to give a number of when a platform or
blog is «ready» (insert one million caveats here about how every
author, book, publisher, and
category is different), then a great goal would be for a blogger to have 50,000 true fans.
One of the key differences between the
categories on your
author blog post and tags, is that tags are optional;
categories are not.
It would take me too long to break down everything for the ~ 30 book
categories, so I decided to focus on the ones most likely to interest my
blog readership, which comprises mostly genre fiction
authors.
