of confusion for

of their manuscript changes in physical size from the
original word processor trim size

books as well as
original titles by those not wanting to go the traditional route any longer.
This is a huge step forward, both for Joe and for Amazon's imprint, which traditionally has only published reprints
of self - published
books by
new authors, not
original titles from known
authors.
Many
authors seem to hurry to implement what appears to be a promising
new tactic for positioning a
book, only to find that after a few months, the sheer weight
of everyone piling on (and / or changes in online retailers» algorithms) has begun to fritter away the approach's
original effectiveness.
I'm tempted to say the depth
of similarity that is permissible is difficult to define, and possibly subjective * (I mean in general, not specifically... the blurb
of this
book was copied from the
original, and the
new author admitted so — so the copying is real even if some readers might think the similarities are somehow excusable).
With the help
of children's
book author, illustrator and artist Jon Buller, Lawler made vector files — enlarged without loss
of quality — from the images, printed them on vinyl and adhered them to the gallery walls, offering a
new way to view her oeuvre and the
original works that appear in it.
