I recently had a guest post by a self -
published author on my blog, and I conducted a video interview of a self - published author last year.
Author Interview — Author interviews are conducted by authors, virtual assistants and book bloggers who like to feature and
support authors on their blog or website.
But to investigate the matter further, I looked at a list of developmental editors recommended by a well -
known author on her blog.
Some of the books I read are paperbacks by conventional publishers, but I also read e-books by independent authors, (including books by my
fellow authors on this blog, which I enjoyed very much).
My third book, Captivate Your Readers, comes out on Saturday, but I've been too busy with final revisions to arrange much, although I did organize a 15 - book giveaway of writing guides by
various authors on my blog (which ends Sat.)
The blog tours are supposed to be replacing the book tours, especially those who are e-pub'd... and I have
guested authors on my blog... I am still unsure as to whether this works since we are all talking to each other and not «readers.»
I'm hoping to feature an interview with
the author on the blog later this month, so keep an eye out for that.
The chapter on the Trinity profoundly changed the way I think about self - sacrifice and interdependence, particularly as a woman, so I knew the moment I finished the book I had to have
the author on the blog.
The tour consists of many different bloggers who each feature the book /
author on their blog for one.
Not only will you get a chance to get a free book but you will get a chance to listen to the author speak on our Good e-Reader Radio Show or an interview with
the author on our blog.

Smashwords, an ebook distribution platform, has posted a scathing warning to
authors on its blog that encourages authors to be aware of all of the terms and conditions prior to enrolling any of their works in this program.
She provides easy to understand strategies in successfully promoting yourself as
an author on blogs, social medias as well as other marketing avenues.
I get several review requests a month, too, mostly on Twitter — also get approached with requests to interview
authors on my blog, as well.
