The deal does not include any money for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority — which is grappling with a service crisis driven by years of deferred maintenance — or
authorize additional areas in the city where speed enforcement cameras can be used.
Resolved, that the Superintendent, or designee, be, and hereby is,
authorized to enter into a Lease Agreement with Landsman Development Corporation, 3 Townline Circle, Rochester, NY, to lease approximately 8,737 square feet of the four story building located at 30 Hart Street, Rochester, NY, (commonly known as the Family Learning Center), for the period March 1, 2018, or as soon thereafter as the Agreement is fully executed, through June 30, 2022, for a rental rate not to exceed Four Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty Two Dollars Fifty Four Cents ($ 4,732.54) per month, plus all
additional charges under the Lease Agreement, including but not limited to Common
Area Maintenance (CAM) charges, property taxes, utilities and repairs, for a sum not to exceed One Thousand Four Hundred Seventy Nine Dollars Seventy Five Cents ($ 1,479.75) per month, funded by the Department of Educational Facilities, contingent upon budget appropriations and contingent upon the form and terms of the Agreement being approved by Counsel to the District.
