authorized user accounts do count towards the Chase 5/24 rule so keep that in mind.
Let me give you an example of why
authorized user accounts do NOT work.

does not automatically make you a co-signer or even an

Federal law
does not limit the number or dictate the type of
authorized users permitted on any single
account.
Unlike the Chase Sapphire Preferred ® Card, Citi cards that earn ThankYou Points don't offer additional bonus points for adding
authorized users to the
account or referring friends to sign up for the card.

account in your name (where you are the primary
user) and
