All of us at Outskirts Press work hard to make sure all
our authors have wonderful experiences (and we get it right 99 % of the time), so it's always gratifying to receive emails like this from one of our recently - published authors (I recevied this roughly around Easter).

have wonderful customer service for «customers» but not so great for their «
authors» in my
experience.

So while publishing houses» editors are
wonderful and helpful to
authors most of the time, there is still a risk of
having a bad
experience with one, and self - publishers don't
have to worry about being locked in to any relationship that isn't working for them.

've looked at but while reading through the archives of a particularly
wonderful site by the name of The Inspired Room I read where Melissa, the talented
author of this site,
had a similar
experience when she embarked on the adventure of blogging.
