I've had the phone
autocorrects on me before, shit happens.
The iPhone automatically enables
autocorrect on its keyboards, which means it'll automatically fix a typo like «adn» to «and» if you're typing quickly and misspell a word.
The programs guessed at words and sentences based on the statistical probability of someone uttering a certain sound or phrase, akin to
autocorrect on smartphones.
It is childish to point at typographical errors (which could be the result of that damnable
autocorrect on a smartphone) and use that as a basis for ignoring the message.
What has not gotten more sophisticate is
the autocorrect on my iPad.
No, it's not a rogue
autocorrect on your smartphone.
Nowadays I see something else going on — and it reminds me of
the autocorrect on my phone.
Not exact matches
There are two fixes: Turning off
autocorrect entirely, or applying a list of words into the «text replacement» field
on your iPhone.
But some are finding that the
autocorrect suggestions they get
on smartphones are actually getting worse over time.

autocorrects and automatically capitalizes like a real BlackBerry keyboard.

Click over to the
AutoCorrect tab and find the entry shown above, click
on it, then click
on Delete.

AutoCorrect tab where we had you delete the copyright symbol, you are going to see that this is really a table of Word's most frequently mistyped, misspelled and then their suggestions for text expanding or text replacement.
To disable
autocorrect navigate to Settings - > General - > Keyboard
on your iOS device.
Tap
on the Phone icon, then Contacts - > + to add a new contact and trick
autocorrect into respecting the spelling of their name.
If you disable the capitalization
AutoCorrect options, you may want to turn
on the feature that checks spelling as you type, so you don't miss capitalization errors.
On the
AutoCorrect Exceptions dialog box, you can add words that you don't want Word to correct.
On a lighter note, the shortcuts menu is also a great way to prank somebody without actually screwing up their
autocorrect system and in - phone dictionary.
Now found under the Time & Language Settings, you'll be able to easily add new keyboard layouts, switch between Japanese 106/109 and English 101/102 keyboard layouts, turn
on and off settings like key sounds and
autocorrect, and other advanced keyboard - related settings.
Another Android keyboard hot
on the heels of SwiftKey is Fleksy, which comes with all the standard features such as swipe typing and an
autocorrect that learns from your vocabulary.
It's a shame, because Google has a fantastic keyboard by default, with finger swiping enabled
on the frontend and a smarter
autocorrect system in the backend.
Using a clever mix of a letter - keys - forward approach with punctuation and options
on wheels, and a decent dose of
autocorrect and predictive technology, the keyboard manages to make typing
on a smartwatch's tiny screen about as natural as it can be without venturing drastically from the way typing is done
on a smartphone.

Similarly, Siri predicts when you might be typing an unusual word in Messages, based
on Safari searches, and offers it in
autocorrect.
If the problem is particularly bugging you, you can also turn off
autocorrect altogether
on your phone, but then you'll probably realize how much you've been relying
on it to fix typos.
This setting simply allows you to turn
autocorrect and spellcheck functions
on system - wide, or at least in Windows Store apps.
