the automatic aperture setting is the default, you can easily override it to take manual control over how much light is let in.

automatic mode will switch between the
settings based on lighting conditions, but the pro mode lets you decide which
aperture you want to use.
The rear camera's lens is capable of switching between f / 1.5 (this is even wider than the LG V30's f / 1.6
aperture) and f / 2.4 depending on lighting conditions, when
set to
automatic.
In low lighting conditions, you'll notice more image noise, especially in
automatic mode, but the relatively fast
aperture settings help keep results at a level that's typical of a high - end smartphone.
You can do this by popping into the Pro mode and making the adjustments manually or if you are in
automatic, the
aperture will be
set for you based on the conditions.
