Your baby's doctor looks for an overall growth pattern by measuring your baby's weight, length (or height), and
head circumference and comparing it with both national
averages and previous measurements.
From 6 - 12 months of age, your baby should grow an
average of 1/2 inch per month in length and 1/4 inch per month in
head circumference.
If in doubt, we recommend ordering the next size, Looping 2, especially if your baby's
head circumference or width is larger than
average.

head circumference is much larger than
