Even though I am an
avid reader of your blog — I read all your
posts when I came across it more than a year ago and have been reading everything you wrote since, just as irregularly as you
post — but a useless one.
This single
post (though I've been an
avid reader of this entire series) just removed 80 %
of the neuroses I've been carrying.
I've been an
avid reader of 4HWW for quite some time, but I think this may be one
of the most valuable
posts I've read here.
But at some point I dipped back in and came across a
post from Joel Friedlander — a man wise in the ways
of indie publishing and generous about sharing his wisdom — in which he suggested that authors should build their Twitter networks not by following other authors, but by following people who describe themselves as
avid readers.
As a long - time Guardian
reader and
avid Guardian crossword puzzle solver, I'm extremely unhappy writing this
post, but the pathologies
of media reporting on this issue have become too big to ignore.
Emily, I have been an
