add a whole fruit like banana, papaya, or mango instead of
honey if you're
avoiding added sweeteners or want to keep your sugar consumption down.

honey, molasses, corn syrup, barley malt, high - fructose corn syrup, sorghum syrup, carob, caramel, sucrose, dextrose, fructose, glucose, lactose, maltose, and any item that is called a sweetener or contains the word «sugar.»
Finally, flavor enhancers such as cooked meat or fish (without any salt;
avoid deli meats) for dogs and cats, or sweeteners (such as yogurt, maple syrup, applesauce or
honey) for dogs may be
added to the diet to promote eating.
Avoid placing
add - ons to sweeten the kitty's meal like
honey or sugar.
