Dig Dug has the player
avoiding enemies and
dropping rocks on their heads, whereas Tank Force allows you to
shoot other tanks in this maze - like environment.
At max level, pretty much every enemy in the game is a bullet sponge; there's no real objective in the firefights besides to
avoid being flanked and just
shooting the bad guys «til they
drop.
All encounters with the enemy are fatal, one way or the other, but it is up to the player to maintain the initiative and
shoot, neck - break, ledge - pull, deadly -
drop - from - above or otherwise dispatch — or even
avoid — the bad guys on his own terms.
It's great to see how the driver of the car is steering the card to
avoid getting hit and it's amazing to see the car deviate from its path after you kill the driver driving the vehicle or
shooting down a passenger and just see him
dropped down from the car.
