I guess I always thought
of flights as a place where you take a sandwich (pb & j to
avoid icky warm cheese),
fruit or some
kind of processed something or another.
I love
fruit & probably eat more than than the average person (I know, high glycemic - but fiber), eat veggies
of all on
kinds, but
avoid white potatoes, eat no beef (it doesn't like my gut), enjoy seafood, love salmon, will eat chicken & pork.
One possible solution to improve the glucose: fructose ratio while
avoiding starches would be to add rice syrup or tapioca syrup to juiced vegetables or
fruits, or to smoothies
of some
kind.
The easiest way to dramatically reduce your fructose consumption is to
avoid sweetened drinks, including
fruit juices, and processed foods
of all
kinds.
