The reason is to always
avoid shoe color that is too much lighter than your pants.
Not exact matches
But to
avoid looking many years older than your age, wear it with some really striking bright
colored shoes.
Those
shoes are priceless and you couldn't have matched them with a better
color to
avoid over shadowing them.
Avoid light -
colored sneakers with dark wash bootcut jeans, and don't wear any type of athletic tennis
shoes.
So I
avoid those
colors, at least near my face (but I may add them to an outfit as a bag, belt, or
shoes if I really like the
color).
Don't be afraid to bring in a pop of
color with your
shoes, but
avoid things that look like evening, event or formal wear.
Wear light -
colored clothing with long sleeves and pants tucked into socks or boots;
avoid open - toed
shoes or flip - flops.
