Changes to
award rates happen occasionally in some programs and all too often in others.
Not exact matches
Whenever it
happens, it will elevate the safety status of Escape including it in the list of cars with top -
rated safety features; it may even bring the Top Safety Pick +
award.
Even worse, if such an offense
happens during a time period where the account is
awarded a 0 % introductory term, the interest free
rate may be stripped.
If your
award flight
happens to be towards a reduced mileage destination, then your rewards
rate will be correspondingly higher.
However,
award chart devaluations can
happen at any time so I think it's best to earn and burn your miles and points at an equal
rate of speed.

happen to have to elite status with Flying Blue, the new mileage
rates aren't going to help you book first class
awards on Air France.
