awards pages can give us what a studio is submitting but the official list of eligible songs won't be out for about six weeks (last year it was December 13) but with full - fledged musical like The Greatest Showman, Beauty and the Beast and Coco we have an idea of at least some of what might pop up on Oscar nomination morning.

You can also do your own check to see how many miles you need from the airline's website: Just look under the reservations
page, and
search for the section that mentions
award flights.

page will show me exactly how to transfer my points, how to
search for an
award ticket, what fees will I need to pay, etc..

Delta.com is quick, and you can easily
search for flights (
award and cash) right from Delta's main
page.
Next, you can
search for
award flights by selecting Book a Flight, then Award Booking at the top of the
award flights by selecting Book a Flight, then
Award Booking at the top of the
Award Booking at the top of the
page.
On the
search results
page, Aeroplan conveniently splits standard ClassicFlight
awards and the more expensive Market Fares into separate tabs.
When
searching for Alaska Airlines flights, first
search for your route, next select «non-stop only» for the «number of stops» drop down on the left side of the
page, last select «show full calendar» on the right side of the
page below the
award legend.
Combining the results
pages for both Google
searches will help solidify how your transferable points can be used to book an
award flight.
I find Aeroplan and ANA to have some of the best
search function for Star Alliance redemptions, or Lifemiles, and British Airways Avios
page is usually top notch for OneWorld
awards, especially when
searching trips by individual segments.
For as long as I can remember I've been used to logging in to my Executive Club account and
searching for
awards / reward flights (call them what you will) by using the
search facility on the left of my account's home
page:
It looks like there is a bug with American Airlines» homepage whereby if you start an
award search there, you will potentially see less availability than if you started from the Advanced Search
search there, you will potentially see less availability than if you started from the Advanced
SearchSearch page.
If there are no flights between your selected airports, then you receive this error message suggesting that you try the
Award Seat Availability
search page:
After submitting the
search, the first
page is a calendar view showing available
award prices on each date around the one we
searched for.
