away this weekend before make or break clashes with Manchester City in the league and Valencia in Europe, it's impossible not think as the next couple
of weeks being a defining period in the season, for club and manager.

run to five games so long as they get a result
away at Blackpool, who have yet to win a home
fixture in the league up till now.
However, some
of that vibrancy will have diminished courtesy
of a retched December month which seen Bolton win just two and lose four
of six league encounters, a disappointing
run which the team will now carry into another formidable
fixture away at Stoke City.
