When you factor in the
awesome soundtrack, dark atmosphere, and in - depth statistics; you're looking at one must - have
game for any fan
of the
genre.
Um Horizon is an
awesome game but it's an open world
game... and like any
game of a
genre you can identify it as such because
of those tropes found in the
genre.
What an
awesome game really, it mixes
genres in a perfect way that it makes total sense, the slow pace reminds me
of 2001: a space odissey (which I love) with realtimestrategy great!
Sure
games like Halo and COD are
awesome but they take the more realistic approach to the FPS
genre (yes I know you are killing space aliens and the like in Halo but you get the idea) so the more classic type
of shooter where you just kill everything in sight with no mission objectives etc has kind
of faded out, well that's what I thought untill I played Bulletstorm.
For those
of you who don't know, Battleswarm is a new MMO that mixes the elements
of FPS shooters and Real Time Strategy
games, thus making an
awesome hybrid
of both
genres (Real Time First Person Strategy Combat?).

Techland seemed to slant a little more toward the wild and fun side

Horizon Zero Dawn is a stunningly gorgeous
game, an
awesome open world action - RPG that overcomes the gameplay conventions
of the
genre by giving you so many options on how to tackle combat.
It's this sort
of control during combat that makes SteamWorld Heist stand out when compared to other titles
of the same
genre — plus you're able to make your bullets bounce off objects as you line up a perfect trick shot, which is pretty
awesome in -
game.
This
game boasts one
of the most
awesome titles on XBLA and is, in fact, one
of the coolest
games in the
genre.
Over the years, we've had some really
awesome open - world titles that I really enjoyed playing like Gothic, The Elder Scrolls or Risen and since the
genre is thriving, I've decided to show you some
of the best open - world
games that have been or will be launched in 2016.
The
game was an absolutely
