Not only did I get to
review this
awesome cookbook, but one of you lucky - duck
readers will get a copy all to yourselves.

awesome people at MyPix2 Canvas reached out to me and wanted to see if I wanted to
review another one of their canvases AND give away $ 100 credit to one of my
readers.

For regular
readers,
reviews of any kind are
awesome, even if it's one line.
They probably wrote the
review because they were angry at other things in general or were in a bad mood, and they'll probably feel bad about it if you leave them a nice comment (if you can't track them down, you could just post a reply like that straight on Amazon — it will make you look
awesome even to other
readers who read the nasty
review and then your kind, polite response).

readers are ready to post their
reviews as soon as you push the «do it» button and release your book.

I would add that the «outside validation» does not include
reviews from
readers on any website, but professional - like reviewers like Midwest Book reviews, BRAGG Medallion, AIA (Awesome Indies Association), IndiePENdents group, or at least non trivial awards like Writers» Digest, Readers» Favourite

One site that I admire as both
reader and writer — I suppose mostly because it is particularly rigorous and specific about its requirements — is
Awesome Indies, which requires that indie authors obtain authorized
reviews from people with literary credentials.
I feel like I have to dedicate a section to it whenever I
review a Huawei device, but the fingerprint
reader is just
awesome.
