This short introduction for the first Resident Evil game should prove just how truly
awful game acting was:

game modes don't work out as good as they sound.

awful racial stereotypes, an orchestral soundtrack, and — in one instance — Street Fighter - inspired 1v1 combat: this
game really does try its darndest to be loco.

The outstanding graphics and phenomenal
acting of Beyond Two Souls can't save the
game from its
awful script...
It has the dumb but entertaining chaos you'll find in
games like Doom, character designs pulled straight from the typical depictions of western soldiers in Japanese
games, style points reminiscent of, well, Devil May Cry, and that sweet
awful (but also endearing at times) voice
acting you'd find in localized
games from that era.
Another problem is that the voice
acting in the
game is pretty
awful, with massive gaps in between sentences; the awkward and annoying dialogue is made infuriating and leaving players just wanting to skip the Shatner - worthy delivery.
