I used kale in place of the swiss chard because my grocery store was out of swiss chard, and used sliced
baby bella mushrooms.
Other «customizations» include adding mini cheese ravioli or tortellini (I like the whole wheat, frozen ones),
using baby bella mushrooms instead of white mushrooms, and using other veggies like squash, potatoes, green beans, leeks, and carrots.
I sauteed 1 cup
of baby bella mushrooms, and then mixed one cup of beef broth with 1 teaspoon cornstarch, salt, pepper and 1/2 a teaspoon of creole seasoning (I like a bit of spice!)
I used tenderloin along with grape tomatoes and
baby bellas on the skewers, marinated the meat for about 8 hours - great flavor.
