There were some bags of
baby kale at Whole Foods the last time I was there but I hesitated to buy it because the bag would require me to eat nothing but kale salads for the remainder of the week.

As an antidote to my vegetables -LCB- which, by the way, included fava beans, some major leafy greens that are like
kale, but not
at all ruffled, and some
baby summer squash -RCB-, I made whoopie pies.
Using spinach is best because you don't taste the green leaves
at all, but if you have high iron or hemochromatosis then
baby kale leaves are a great alternative and are lower in iron.
Another tip to help get dinner on the table quickly would be to use pre-washed
baby greens, such as spinach,
kale and chard, that are available
at many grocery stores.
Also, because I wanted a bit more nutrition and can't be necessarily trusted to get it
at another meal — lately I've wanted «French Fries and Champagne» for dinner (be sure to check out my post about this tomorrow or Saturday)-- I added a lot of fresh
baby kale.

To make this even easier, I used some sausage rather than chicken and a bag of pre-washed
baby kale, available
at Trader Joe's, so no shredding and no trimming.

kale (it might not all fit
at once).
At that point, turn off the heat, stir in the
baby kale and it's ready!

kale and other dark, leafy green vegetables can make
baby sick before he is 7 months old, Because we are conservative
at wholesomebabyfood, we recommend exercising similar caution to spinach and waiting until
baby is
at least 6 - 8 months old to try
kale.
At breakfast make a green smoothie (or juice) with 50 percent fresh
baby spinach or
kale and 50 percent fruit, such as bananas, pear or pineapple and blend with water.
I'm guessing that your pantry isn't stocked with
baby kale or spinach, micro greens and cucumbers — and if it is, cooking them can sometimes feel like a job
at the end of a long day.
If using powdered, start with about a 1/4 tsp, and increase if you like the flavor) 1 handful spinach 1 handful
kale (I've got tender

Plus, Whole Foods has a wider selection of organic products in general (you can't find organic avocados, apples,
baby kale, or almond milk
at the super store).
