Your child should still be getting 24 - 32 ounces of formula each day, but they can now consume a variety of foods such as
pureed fruits and vegetables or

As your
baby eats more
purees and finger foods
at the table, she's likely going to naturally drink less milk because the other portion of her diet is offering her nutrients and calories as well.
When my husband Walter and I started introducing our son Isaiah to solid foods
at 6 months, we tried spoon - feeding him

baby, from hospital births to home birth, bottles to breastfeeding, dummies vs no dummies, disposable or reusable,
baby - led to
puree, I've done it all and I have no regrets, I did what was best for us
at that stage.
I really want to try this
baby led weaning as we don't have electricity for 14 hours a day so using a blender for
purees may involve getting up
at 2 am!!
If you are up to making organic
baby food
at home you can buy organic food,
puree and freeze it for significant savings (70 — 80 %).
In her toddler book, she advocates the use of the «holding technique» to restrain kids and teach them not to touch things (there's a video on youtube of her demonstrating this) and thinks
babies should only be fed
purees until they are 12 months, then mashed food, then only real food
at approx 24 months old and thinks BLW is «inappropriate.»

pureed veggies, fruits, meats, or infant cereal — to see if they cause any reactions.
Pre-purchasing
purees can expose your child to artificial additives, chemicals, and even mold while making
purees at home can be expensive as well as time - consuming with no guarantee your
baby will even eat the food.

purees altogether you will still learn so many useful things from the program like how your
baby's self feeding skills will be developing and which roadblocks to expect
at each stage.
When your
baby reaches about 8 months old, he's probably quite adept
at swallowing a variety of
baby food
