I recently did an interview
with a chef for my site and he used the Barefoot Cantessa brioche bun
recipe for his to die for pulled pork sandwiches... but I just had a
baby, I had to turn to the store.
I saw a
recipe for Steak & Potato Salad
with a horseradish dressing — which I ended up putting over a bed of
baby arugula — if you try nothing else, make the dressing — the only thing I added to the dressing was a tablespoon of Dijon mustard — it made the dish!
I was planning on tweaking a
Baby Lima - Spinach gratin
recipe with them (from Peter Berley's Modern Vegetarian Kitchen, if you know it), but I may just have to make this stew instead!
We used
baby gold potatoes in this
recipe and they were a terrific choice, but we've also used fingerling and red - skinned potatoes
with equally good results.
I made this for dinner tonight and it was super easy and delish, perfect
recipe to cook
with a toddler underfoot and
baby requiring attention.

with bone - in chicken parts, such as drumsticks or thighs; dark meat,
